MONIQUE BLOFIELD
Tour Leader
I first started doing photography when I was nine years old and began wildlife photography when I turned thirteen. Since 2002, I have worked as a portrait and art photographer. Although I have been involved in CNP Safaris since its inception, I only joined the CNP full-time in July 2020. This move has rekindled my love for wildlife photography, and combined with my passion for working with women, I am excited to now lead some of the ladies' safaris as a tour leader.
As someone who is deeply passionate about capturing the beauty of nature, I find that the words of Antonio Gaudi, a renowned architect from Barcelona, perfectly encapsulate my feelings: “Nothing is art if it does not come from nature.”
Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to travel to many different destinations for wildlife photography, including Botswana, Namibia, Cape West Coast, Karoo, and Kruger National Park.
As a mother of young boys, I am working on instilling in them a love for nature and photography. I am proud and amazed by the progress that my two children have made in their wildlife photography hobby in just a short amount of time. Nature photography has now become a hobby for our young family, and we often spend weekends in our nearby nature reserve.
If you’re interested, I invite you to join me on one of our safaris and experience the magnificent and diverse scenes that Africa has to offer.
