SELATI & CHOBE LADIES SAFARI 2025
We invite you to share in the wondrous charm of the Chobe River. Capture the essence of nature and embrace the feeling of being immersed in its abundance—from elephants crossing the majestic waters to the iconic cry of the African Fish Eagle. As we glide along a river that mirrors the sky, watch as the reflections transform into expressionistic paintings set against the backdrop of a symphony of sounds heralding the awakening day.
Through your lens, realign and rediscover your own peace and harmony. Spend the last few days relaxing at the tranquil Klipspringer Lodge in Selati Private Game Reserve while continuing your photography from the specialised photographic hide. Emerge rejuvenated and transformed by this inspirational experience, and dream under the vast African skies. Return home with more than just precious memories.
As we traverse through these pristine landscapes, let your creativity soar and your spirit thrive in the camaraderie of like-minded women. Together, we create memories that transcend boundaries and inspire a deeper connection with the natural world.

Nestled in the heart of the Limpopo Province, South Africa, west of the Kruger National Park, you will find the unspoiled gem that is the Selati Private Game Reserve.
Home not only to the Big 5, but this approx 30 000ha reserve also offers many other predators, mammals, and a vibrant bird population of more than 280 species.
The Klipspringer hide is perfect for day and night-time photography with various bird and mammal species. Exclusive use for photographers right on the doorstep of the luxurious Klipspringer Lodge.
The Selati Private Game Reserve is home to breathtaking landscapes, crowned by the Lillie Cycad forest, the only naturally occurring colony of this species—a bucket-list item for any Nature photography enthusiast. Private, en-suite and airconditioned rooms are available in the main lodge and private chalets, surrounded by an exquisite lush green garden overlooking the African bushveld. A truly luxurious bush experience!
Chobe National Park, the first and most biologically diverse park in Northern Botswana, is an extraordinary wildlife destination year-round, often hailed as Africa’s “elephant capital.”
Describing the magic of Chobe is no easy task. Imagine the Chobe River, home to the world’s largest population of African elephants. Picture the thrill of observing a herd cross the river just meters away, with young ones being carefully lifted by their mothers. Envision capturing hippos at eye-level or witnessing the precision of a Pied Kingfisher diving for its catch. The antics of Chacma Baboons crossing the river add a touch of humor to the experience. Yet, no words truly capture the magic of Chobe.
Photography in Chobe offers an intimate connection with nature. The abundance of birdlife and wildlife provides unparalleled photographic opportunities, especially from specialized boats equipped with swivel chairs and gimbal heads, allowing for close, eye-level shots with ease.
Chobe Safari Lodge is a wonderful destination that has been sharing its beautiful environment with guests for over 60 years. The lodge is located on the banks of the Chobe River, and the Chobe Bush Lodge is situated next door, within walking distance. Both lodges are only a ten-minute drive from Kasane International Airport and the entrance to the famous Chobe National Park, in the town of Kasane.
Daily road transfers are available to connect guests to iconic sights in the region, such as the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

This small group, exclusive experience, is limited to 6 guests. The variety of activities are both life changing and a very big addition to the wildlife photography on offer.
Enquire about the Rhino Experience as an add-on activity. Minimum 4 pax needed.
RHINO CONSERVATION PROJECT
This rhino conservation project is both life changing and life saving. Rhinos are still targeted and poached for their horn, for various reasons, from traditional Chinese medicinal beliefs, aphrodisiacs and even as status symbols, and as a result one of the most expensive commodities on the black market worldwide.
These mythical beliefs are driving one of Africas most iconic species to extinction. Rhino protection consists of a large toolbox of measures taken to protect them: from Anti Poaching Units, aerial surveillance, detection-and tracking dogs, intelligence gathering, tourism and dehorning, to name a few.
Over the last 10 years, dehorning has contributed massively as a deterrent to poachers, making the reward not big enough to poach in reserves that follow this strategy. This non-harmful procedure has proven to have no impact on rhinos, as their calving intervals remained unchanged, social behaviour hasn’t changed and has giving reserve management more time to improve tactics. While dehorning has a positive impact on rhino conservation, one has to remember, it is merely a preventative procedure and not the silver bullet to stop poaching.
Home for the two nights will be a Private Big 5 Game Reserve situated in the Greater Kruger Biosphere, Limpopo. The chef at your luxury lodge will prepare all meals. Additional amenities include spa treatments and bread-baking ceremonies in the bush. A trained professional guide will accompany you on all safaris for the duration of your stay.
