The Pantanal is regarded as one of the world’s gems when it comes to Photographic Safari destinations, which is home to the third-largest cat species in the world, the Jaguar. This destination is famous for these incredible cats that prey on Caiman crocodiles, native to South America.
During your 11 day tour, you will also have the opportunity to photograph among the rarest animals to inhabit the wetland of the Pantanal, such as the Giant River Otter, the South American Tapir, Toucan, Giant Anteater, Capybara, Ocelot, and Yacaré Caiman.
The Rivers and channels in the Pantanal provide easy access for the customized photographic boat equipped with revolving centerline camera mounts, to locations frequented by the jaguars.

However known to you there is no denying this is one of the most majestic predators on earth. Even the Mayans erected temples in honor of what they believed to be the ruler of the underworld and symbol of night, strength and spiritual power.
One of only two big cat species in South America, this near endangered (approx. 170 000) and highly elusive big cat, in recent years has captured the imagination of wildlife photographers and nature enthusiast all over the world.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Upon arrival at Ciuabá Marechal Rondon International Airport you are transferred by a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Porto Jofre where you take a short transfer by boat to the floating hotel where you will spend 7 nights in the Jaguar Suites. The floating hotel is moored in the East Central part of “Jaguarland”, which is strategically placed to eliminate the long daily commute to and from the Jaguar Zone. This allows for extended time to photograph the cats from the custom photographic boat and to be on location at the best times of day.
