Description

We are all very excited at CNP to have been able to add Etosha National Park in northern Namibia, Southern Africa, as a permanent and exclusive destination to our photographic safari list. Those of you who were fortunate enough to join us in the past on the Chobe River in Botswana will know that at CNP Safaris we do not settle for anything less than world class.

The fantastic news is that our first custom-designed, long-wheel-base safari vehicles were introduced into Etosha during the June through August safaris in 2012.  The results were amazing.

Our vehicles are each equipped with only three photographic chairs to allow for lots of space and a photographic experience second to none!  Of all the Southern African photographic destinations where one is compelled to photograph from inside a vehicle, Etosha, as presented by CNP, comes closest to equalling our Chobe, boat-based experience.

Etosha has an abundance of wildlife. In the winter months the animals congregate in large numbers at the life-sustaining water holes.  The base for your Etosha Safari will be inside the Etosha National Park.

On arrival at Namibia International Airport, you will be met and transferred by air-conditioned shuttle to Etosha National Park. Lunch and an afternoon game drive will be dependent on arrival times.  For the rest of the trip we will photograph early in the mornings and return to base for a late brunch. Between the morning and afternoon drives we will have ample time to download and evaluate the day’s images.  Should you so wish, we can arrange to stay out in the field for the entire day.
